Congrats on a tremendous summer, Bombers! #bestinstate
It would be pretty tough to overstate the success that the Bombers high-school aged teams had this summer. With dozens of college commitments (more on that later), strong showings at some of the biggest and most competitive tournaments in the country, and our 14U National, 15U National, 17U American, and 17U National teams combining to finish 115-31-5 all while playing one of the toughest schedules in the region, there was no doubt that #BomberNation had left our mark on the season. So when the Bombers high-school aged teams received recognition from Perfect Game at the state, regional, and national levels … well that was just the icing on the cake.
The 14U squad showed tremendous growth and development, advancing to the championship game at the PA Perfect Game Super 25, and the semi-finals at both the Perfect Game Virginia Championships and the Perfect Game East Coast Super Qualifier, wrapping up their season with a 31-15 record. 14U National was recognized by Perfect Game as the #4 team in the state of PA, the #16 team in the Mid-Atlantic Region (all of PA, NJ, NY, DE, MD, and Ontario), and an Honorable Mention for a national ranking!
15U National put the rest of the country on notice that the talent from PA can compete with anyone. The Bombers finished the summer with a record of 34-5-2, which included winning the PG Super 25 East Coast Qualifier, the PG Super 25 PA Super Qualifier, winning the Big Show 16U Elite Invitational, a run to the championship game of the PG Super 25 National Championship, and being the only team from PA to advance to the playoffs at the 282 team 15U PG WWBA in Georgia, (beating teams from TX, MD, MA, AL, and 2 from GA). Their success earned them the #1 ranking in PA, #1 in the Mid-Atlantic, and #34 in the USA!
17U American also had a very strong showing, finishing their summer with a record of 16-5-2, going 3-1 at the prestigious 235 team Prospect Select Black Bear Classic in South Carolina, turning heads on the college camp circuit, and ending the summer as co-champions at the Big Show 17u Elite Invitational.
Lastly, the 17U National team finished their season at 34-7-1, winning both Big Show 17U Elite Tournaments, making the championship at the PG Super 25 Mid-Atlantic Regional, advancing to the playoffs at the 235 team Black Bear Classic in South Carolina, and advancing to the round of 32 at the 306 team PG WWBA in Georgia, where they beat teams from KY, TX, LA, GA, and AR, including wins over the #10 (5 Star National) and #22 (3n2 Stick Baseball) ranked teams in the country. The Bombers strong season resulted in them being ranked as the #1 team in PA, the #5 team in the Mid-Atlantic, and the #53 team in the USA!
